Bar Mitzvah Bondage
I invented the term “Bar Mitzvah bondage” several years ago to describe the financial hostage situation my family put me under from prior to my own Bar Mitzvah. I was deprived of a stock portfolio which was created for me by my grandparents, to hold the stocks that I picked in school during the time we played the stock market. I had a natural knack for this, at the age of 10 years old. My social security card from age 4 proves that I was literally put to work for a variety of “businesses” my parents had.
In terms of the stocks, my portfolio included: Intel, IBM, Microsoft, and Apple.
To readers today, this would seem obvious. They’re all massive.
But in 1997, Microsoft & Apple were penny stocks, and Intel & IBM were large players in legacy technology, as incumbents.
The bondage that I refer to in this, has to do with the way these investment schemes were designed to rob me and unjustly enrich my parents. As I delved deeper into understanding the complexities of the market, stock transfer agencies, and the tax scams associated with child-investment vehicles, it became clear to me that I was a slave to these companies as well.
However, over the last several years, I have investigated this concept even further and is has led me to understand some of the fundamental structures which have made the genocide of Palestinians possible.
It is with a heavy heart, and a desire to free these people and the world of this horrible atrocity which has been in place since long before I was born.
Understanding Bar Mitzvah Bondage
There are 7.5 million American Jews. For the purpose of this concept, just know it could easily also be called “Bat Mitzvah Bondage,” but in certain more traditional families, it is still a patriarchal system, which means mostly the men are involved.
Remember that in the Jewish religion, children become adults at age 13. The process is leading a religious service, connecting the child to God, community, and the importance of the practice of the religion. It is supposed to be an honorable thing.
Just as it is customary in any other culture, to give gifts during celebratory or ritualistic events, the Bar/Bat Mitzvah is a time of gift giving.
Development Corporation for Israel Facilitating A Perverted Rite of Passage
The Development Corporation for Israel was founded in 1951 to raise money for the creation of the state of Israel. This organization sells what are known as Israel bonds.
There are a lot of details that are important, actually, including the lack of regulatory protection for those who purchase and sell these – meaning unregistered brokers and volunteers can execute transactions including making commissions – which has been a scheme for many years that Jews use to make money. Though the amounts of these bonds vary, including their maturation date(s), another key thing to realize is that they are not sold in America (or anywhere else in the world) like traditional bonds.
For example, Goldman Sachs does not sell these bonds.
Only the DCI does.
I know people who have sold bonds their whole professional lives and knew nothing about these bonds when I first started bringing up the connection between these bonds and the current genocidal state of Israeli settlements.
While there is no widely reported statistic on the number, it is likely that a vast majority of Bar/Bat Mitzvahs receive Israel bonds. Even a small token of spiritual connection can make a difference – at least that is how they are sold – to give the child a connection to the holyland.
On one hand, it’s kind of a beautiful sentiment.
On the other hand, it has become a corrosive and broken system that doesn’t even have any more utility for the purpose it was originally established for.
Original Structure, and Current Organization of DCI
DCI is a FINRA regulated entity.
They were originally approved in 1955.
Therefore, any Jewish person who became a Bar or Bat Mitzvah after this date, was capable of purchasing or receiving Israel bonds. Those bonds are often rolled over once they mature, purchasing new ones, keeping a continuous investment cycle.
These bonds, of course, are never in default.
I have tracked them over time, and there is an unsurprising correlation to wars that Israel has fought such that bond sales increase during and surrounding war efforts.
After October 7th, they saw historic records of bond purchases.
The sole shareholder is: ASSOCIATION FOR DEVELOPMENT OF ISRAEL, INC. F/K/A AMERICAN SOCIETY OF RESETTLEMENT & REHABILITON IN ISRAEL, INC. and yes that typo is in their FINRA profile.
Notice the name “American Society of Resettlement & Rehabilitation In Israel.”
That is the stated purpose of the organization, which is now 70 years old.

It is important to understand how these official constructs have framed the relationship between America, Israel, and diaspora Jews. The purpose of this organization, and the international bond sales of the state of Israel, is still set up for the purpose of “resettlement.”
This is why the rhetoric of “settlements” and real estate development are the language of the Israeli state.
That is why American Jews are also tied in knots about the situation.
They have bonds that haven’t matured yet, and the investment works.
Your Taxpayer Dollars Are Leverage, Not Requisite
The stereotype of Jews being wealthy, in charge of banking, and using that to pit the world into war, is sadly true when it comes to those who are invested in Israel bonds.
American podcasters often decry the notion of “our taxpayer dollars” or in more narcissistic cases, “my taxpayer dollars” being used to fund a genocide. This argument is immature, and ineffective (if you want to stop it) because it sets up a few conditions. It assumes that these people would cease to protest or vocalize disapproval of the situation if they were assured their tax dollars weren’t funding it at all. The accounting in our federal government is not that pristine or refined, but if it were possible, that would not be sufficient for those of us who are humanitarians.
The other condition it sets up, is that you expect your money to be repaid.
That means your protest is simply saying to Congress, “I’m not making enough money on this.” Otherwise your tax dollars would not be at issue. That complaint actually sets you up as the victim of the situation. You are not the victim in that situation. The victims of this perverse scheme are obvious. Innocent Palestinian people who are seen as fixtures in homes that need to be demolished. Or they are treated like unwanted tenants with Judge Dredd style law enforcement to remove them. All the religious rhetoric falls flat, and has become counterproductive to Jews.
To be blunt, diaspora Jews and Israeli Jews are typically in higher economic brackets. They fund the nation of Israel by purchasing Israel bonds. Many of them do business in or with Israelis all over the world. I have been ostracized from Jews for the ways I have opposed (restricting my money or relinquishing rights to it) the mistreatment of Palestinian people; since I was a boy. But Jews and the so-called Jewish state can more-than afford to fund their own military operations.
The $3,000,000,000 in FOREIGN MILITARY FINANCING (which is a grant) is round-tripped back to American weapons companies. From a purely financial perspective, this functions as a subsidy for the publicly traded weapons contractors here in America. This has a positive effect on their stock value, presumably, and of course the Congress members who rely on those campaign contributions, will be afforded them. Americans do benefit from that, even if only a few of us.
I’ve run through these numbers before, but it breaks down to approximately $8.50 per American if you were to spread that all across each individual American. The point here is that arguing on the basis of tax dollars leads to nowhere helpful to Palestinians, and it is not a strong enough argument to change any policies.
Generational Complicity Keeps This In Place
As you can see, the fundamental investment that diaspora Jews make in the nation of Israel is on the basis of American cooperation of “resettlement” in Israel. It has been going on for 70 years. The bonds often roll-over. They are given as gifts among each other between Jews. Passed down during inheritance. Bonds must mature for you to receive the benefit. In other words, if you were holding $1,000,000 in Israel bonds on October 8th, 2023, you cannot ask for your money back early. These are also very illiquid investments. That means your money is in somebody else’s hands until it matures. In family offices, the manager of this money may not explain to the younger members of the family what it all means.
In synagogues around America and other parts of the world, for generations, rabbis have preached about the importance of funding the state of Israel. It was presented to us that if we do not, that the state of Israel would be destroyed. It was also then presented that this would lead to another Holocaust – on all Jews around the world.
For most of my life, Benjamin Netanyahu has been a leader in the Israeli government. He also has a connection to the region in Pennsylvania where I’m from.
It is branded as a good, almost God-commanded act, to buy Israel bonds.
When Jewish children – including millennial or Gen X age – question their parents on how they could still possibly support the nation of Israel; I would imagine that Israel bonds don’t come up. Because of the nature of these bonds being so strong, you might imagine that they are used as leverage for other investments such as mortgages, or even used in business purposes. That makes them very hard to get out of. There might even be threats of legal retaliation inside families over it.
Blame the Right Jews
This will be an incredibly unpopular concept, but it is the only way.
The “right Jews” in this context are not even necessarily the government of Israel because they are fulfilling on their obligations. That does not absolve Netanyahu of anything. It does not excuse his cabinet or party either. Nothing does. In fact, they are attracting retribution from God over their actions now. But the DCI, the synagogue sales offices, Jewish members of Congress and elected office, and wealthy families in America are all to blame for keeping this going to this extreme degree. It is a matter of their personal corruption and degradation of the religious principles of zionism itself – which does not allow for taking the land by force – that these people have funded this.
There are (10) Jewish Senators. They all vote for weapons to Israel. Bernie Sanders is a fake opposition to this, and he does nothing to stop it. But too few people recognize the reality that they are all probably holders of Israel bonds. AIPAC money may even circle back into Israel bonds, just like the “allowance” Congress members receive.
Forfeit Your Hebrew Inheritance To Stop Genocide
While the BDS Movement attempts to claw money back from Israel, they do not understand the complexities of these issues. They do not have the knowledge or experience to both call it out for what it is, as well as come up with a plan to unwind it. But I do. The first thing that millions of Jews will need to do is forfeit their bonds.
Do not recoup on them.
Do not profit from them.
Or you will be profiting from genocide.
Jewish children will have to fight with their parents about this. It will not be easy.
They will deny, reject, and retaliate.
However, it is the only way.
The Three Oaths Must Be Remembered
For over 1,000 years, long before Theodore Herzl and the word “zionism” itself, the Jewish people had been considering what it would take to go back to what they viewed as their ancestral homeland.
Though they can be translated in different ways, the three oaths are basically:
- Do not take the homeland by force.
- Do not revolt against host nations.
- Do not break 1 or 2 unless all nations of the world are hunting Jews.
The reason the three oaths were essentially forsaken in 1948 to create the state of Israel by force, was using the Holocaust as a justification.
Essentially, the religious zionists of the time felt that the Holocaust was evidence that it was too dangerous for Jews anywhere else in the world outside of having a homeland. There were limited beliefs that are taboo today, which suggested that the Holocaust was God’s punishment for zionists plotting to take the homeland by force.
For decades it has been debatable whether or not the state of Israel was breaking these three oaths. That debate is over.
The nations of the world are not exceedingly anti-Jew, and the homeland is obviously being taken by force.
Protests in Israel by the population, demanding an end to this genocide, have not largely brought up this religious argument.
Modern zionism is being branded a Nazi, genocidal movement. It is not. The movement once believed that something like what we are seeing right now was wrong. The movement has been transformed into an imperialist form of idolatry.
Too Many Jews Have Idolized Israel
Judaism was founded on the principle of anti-idolatry.
These days, the financial bonds (pun intended) that too many Jews have to the state of Israel, and their devotion to returning dividends, has become sacrilegious. This is actually degrading what it means to be Jewish on the world’s stage. To even call Israel a Jewish state today, does damage to the faith. That is why the financial loss of bonds and other investments must be made. It is hardly a sacrifice commensurate with the destruction of Gaza, the West Bank, and the attempted cleansing of non-Jews. The Holocaust is not justification for what the state of Israel is doing.
Never again meant never again.
The End of the State of Israel Is Imminent
Imagine a few scenarios. First, the stated goal of the Israeli government, which appears likely. That would see the annexation of all land not totally under their control, creating a “Greater Israel” 1-state solution. The end of a Palestinian state and the end of the concept of such a thing. That is their goal, on top of developing the land into condominiums and other grotesque inhumanities. IF that were to happen there would be no more Muslim presence in the area, which would make Israel even more of a sitting duck for its neighboring foes or competitors like Iran. The way this war/genocide was conducted, has isolated Israel to a large extent. That means they would not be as protected by allies in the future. More nations and peoples of the world have lost sympathy for the so-called Jewish state.
That will result in a condition where the lives lost on the Palestinian/Muslim side will have essentially degraded the Israeli and Jewish identity to the point where an attack on Israel directly – with real force – would be accepted.
They would be funded, I’m sure.
But the level of attack would be immense.
Imagine another scenario. Israel stops short of their expressed goals, on their own for some reason. They will have stopped short of total genocide, however, they will have committed so many horrible atrocities in such a short period of time, they may still face the same kind of retributive future.
Pulsa De Nura, and Eventual Exile
Pulsa De Nura means “Lashes of Fire” in Aramaic. It is regarded as the Jewish death curse, and it has been rhetorically used against multiple Prime Ministers of Israel including by protestors of the Rabin administration which Netanyahu opposed.
It is not clear if this is an ancient curse, a modern invention, or a modern interpretation of ancient curses.
However, it has been used in the context of cursing those who are an abomination to the Jewish people and even more specifically – the state of Israel itself.
It is hard to imagine what the proportional response from the Palestinian people and/or the world should be towards Netanyahu, and the state of Israel.
But due to the violations of the three oaths, the financial incentives that must be broken, and the inhumane treatment, it is worth considering that the nation of Israel and its inhabitants should exile.
God does not live in the ground.
If there is any covenant between God and the Jews, related to Zion, it is inarguable that the Jews must uphold peace and human dignity. There is no reading of the Torah, Talmud, or decency, which suggests that God wishes for the Jews to steal this land by force in order to fulfill on bond obligations and real estate developments. It is actually a grotesque abomination.
The Jews of the world, diaspora Jews, risk being hunted for the crimes of the state of Israel if we do not make it clear there is a difference between us and those who are using theological rationalization for brutalizing other people for money.
That is not what a Jew is.
Emancipation From Bar Mitzvah Bondage
This insidious condition, Bar Mitzvah bondage, has to be addressed among the diaspora Jews especially. There is no reason for us to hold a stake in this nation when they are doing these things. They have failed to uphold Jewish values, and are forsaking our tradition. To have a genocide, to clear out land that is contested, for real estate development, is a gutless and shameful horror.
Islamic terror groups have had as their charter, to eradication of the Jewish state and death to Jews.
Somehow or another, the state of Israel has done more to achieve that end than Hamas could ever have done.
But for those Jews reading this, challenge your family on it. Do not accept being brushed off. Have this difficult conversation. If they refuse, you will have your answer. Then demand the same accountability from the Jews in Congress. Go request a conversation with your rabbi if you still attend synagogue. Make people admit that they accept this for a return of less than 5% interest. If they think that’s antisemitic they should stop doing it.
Every single one of them, and any AIPAC contributor, should be forced to answer the questions about how Israel bonds play a role.
Bust open the trusts of the wealthy Jews in public life, and you’ll find Israel bonds.
Those in their orbit, or down-line, will be linked to the same.
This issue is complex, but the bond problem is paramount.
Palestine, and the people of the Israeli-occupied territory must be given legal support, financial backing, and other organizing principles which would de facto establish a state without the necessity of recognition of a state by the outside. It would be an insult to await the world to recognize anything in this case, but creating such a thing is also incredibly difficult to do under the duress they face. That notwithstanding, it is still required. Otherwise this will continue.
I will continue my fight against this, and bringing it to the attention of those who must make sacrifices and decisions in order to end this madness.
